Showy Mountain Ash Study #1
Showy Mountain Ash Study #1
Showy Mountain Ash (Sorbus decora) is a plant that is native to Saskatchewan and other parts of northeastern North America. It grows as a shrub or small tree. While it is typically planted as an ornamental plant, both the bark and fruit hold medicinal qualities, though the seeds of the berries must be removed before using. The fruit has been used as an anti-inflammatory, astringent, and anti-scurvy agent and contains Vitamin C as it's main nutrient.
